The list of the 21 projects to be funded by SecurIT is now out, and the 12-month support program provided by the consortium partners has now started. Find out more on the innovative digital solutions that will permit to contribute to safer, more secure and resilient territories and cities.

Ready for 1-year support !

After the Jury Day pitch sessions and a thorough selection process, 21 projects have been selected to receive the funding and support by the SecurIT project. The Kick-Off Meeting of SecurIT Open Call #1 selected projects took place on 15 September 2022, giving the opportunity to the 1^st cohort of projects funded by SecurIT to introduce themselves and create a community aware of SecurIT objectives, the support they will benefit from and the conditions.

During the online meeting, the consortium introduced the main lines of the support program to the 48 SME beneficiaries. All 21 projects had the chance to pitch and present to the SecurIT community their innovative solution aiming at contributing to safer, secured and resilient smart cities and territories.

A regular dialogue and follow up will be established among each project and the SecurIT consortium clusters. During one year, the regular meetings between the clusters and their delegated projects will allow to track the progress made and evaluate the projects’ performances. The 21 selected projects address several challenges in three key domains that were set for the 1^st Open Call in collaboration with potential end-users. What the projects all have in common is the objective of improving citizens’ security by protecting infrastructures and public spaces as well as forecasting natural disasters.
