Open Call 1 projects have come to an end!
Back in June 2022 SecurIT consortium partners selected 21 projects led by innovative European SMEs to get up to € 88K funding to develop their solutions. 14 demonstrators and 7 prototyping projects have been granted then, and responsible SMEs carried out their activities during 12 months from September 2022 on.
All Open Call 1 funded projects have now ended. There are plenty of things that Open Call 1 projects have been able to reach through SecurIT financial support.
Many projects launched promotional campaigns throughout Europe and globally, starting to communicate about their solutions to potential buyers or integrators during events, even to potential end users for further developments (e.g. latest Open Call 1 SMEs’ exhibitions at Milipol Paris).
Further demonstrations occurred beyond Open Call 1 projects’ ends with additional end users to get the solutions finetuned and ready for market deployment (e.g. Open Call 1 projects FusionSec and HelIA).

First insights from Open Call 2 project partners
During Kick-Off Meeting in Vilnius in early September, SecurIT partners took the opportunity to ask SMEs funded under SecurIT open call 2 about their motivations and in what way their solutions were a match to SecurIT’s objectives.
SecurIT funding will allow them to gain visibility and to reach higher TRL as well as finetuning their commercialization strategies.
